WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?*****

Easy to answer, we are a group of people who are on an amazing adventure who are getting to know an awesome God. Our lives are filled with a volatile mixture of astonishment and terror, awe and risk, amazement and fear, adventure and exhilaration, tears and laughter, passion and anticipation, daring and enchantment.

We love Music, Dancing, Laughter, friends, Community, and most of all God.

We do nothing boring, we don’t believe in a building, but in people and we really love Java, and we love to meet in cool new places and do on daring adventures together.

Our Story

the.life.project is the ministry of Pastor's Matthew and Karla Thompson. ( But they like to just be called Matt and Karla) The sole intent of the.life.project is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in such a way that it turns people into Christ Adventure’s, and Christ Adventure’s into disciples, and disciples into leaders, who will in turn reach others for Christ.

OUR FAITH

God exists and is the Creator of all things.


The Bible, the 39 canonized books of the Old Testament and the 27 canonized books of the New Testament, to be the divinely inspired, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God. The only infallible rule of faith and conduct..

In the unity of this One true and living God, revealed in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit: co-equal, co-eternal and one in substance.

That Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of God.

In His entrance into our world as a human being, born of a virgin. His sinless life, His ministry, sufferings and death. His bodily resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God the Father.

That man was originally created in the image and likeness of God, but by voluntary transgression fell and is separated from God, thus making personal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ a necessity for every person.
 
In water baptism for believers only (immersion), according to Mark 16:16.

In the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38 etc. In the nine spiritual gifts of 1 Corinthians 12 and the five fold ministry of Ephesians 4.

In the second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth, in power and glory.

The day of judgement: heaven and eternal bliss for believers. Mark 16:16, John 3:16. hell and eternal damnation for those who believe not. Mark 16:16 John 3:16

The glorious transformation of creation.

The ongoing realities and power of the Kingdom of God and of His Christ, Jesus.
